Brief Profile
Namrata Acharya has a rich experience in the area of Finance, Entrepreneurship and Research. She enjoys a perfect blend of magnificent industry and academics experience as she has been instrumental in creating Equity Research Reports, Sector analysis/outlook, Business Research, Global Dailies, Commodity-Forex Reports for Private Equity players, International Bankers and Qualified Institutional Promoters in the International markets.
A double Master of Management from University of Mumbai holding a MMS degree in Management with major specialization in Finance and a MCOM with specialization in Management. She is trained Faculty leader with the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) in the domain of Entrepreneurship Management. She is also a Business Consultant for SME' and Mentor for a number of startups. She has been an active face in mentoring students to start up new ventures in her teaching career and has been honoured to be awarded for her receiving National level award from NEN for having the most active and best Entrepreneurship Cell and driving Entrepreneurship Week on Campus.
She teaches courses in the area of Finance and General Management. Her area of interest lies in teaching courses namely, International Finance, Forex & Risk Management, Security Analysis & Portfolio management, Financial Regulations, Financial Markets, Institutions & Services, Financial management, Cost & Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Entrepreneurship Management, Business Plan Development and Research Methodology.

Research & Publication
She is currently submited her thesis for her PhD in the area of Entrepreneurial Finance from the University of Mumbai on the topic "A Study of Awareness and Assessment of Different Modes of Financing for Entrepreneurs of Small and Medium Enterprises in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai" and await her award of doctrol degree.
She has a exhibited her love for research by adding to her credit a number of international and national research publication in the area of Finance and Entrepreneurship.
She has also won a number of Best Research Paper awards from a number of National bodies and is been honoured to be appointed as a Life member on board of Research and Development Association of India - Jaipur.
