Career Management Center

The Career Management Cell (CMC) serves as the vital link connecting our diverse community of students, alumni, and employers. Established to drive the professional career advancement of students pursuing management education at the institute, the CMC is committed to helping every student translate their academic learning into a successful career.

The CMC supports students in securing two-month summer internships during the May–June break of their postgraduate programme, and coordinates campus placement drives for graduating students. Our overarching goal is 100% summer internship and final placement for every eligible student enrolled in the institute's management programmes.

Objectives

• Provide career guidance on specialization choices, placement opportunities, and entrepreneurship pathways
• Assist first-year students in securing two-month summer internships, enabling them to apply classroom learning in real industry settings
• Facilitate live project opportunities with industry partners and within the institute
• Support second-year students in securing final placements
• Build and maintain strong corporate relationships with Class Profile and alumni
• Conduct Pre-Placement Training to help students excel in company interviews
• Ensure students are well-informed about the Placement Policy, training modules, and selection processes
• Plan and organize alumni interaction programs to familiarize students with diverse industry sectors and company work cultures
• Bridge the gap between academia and industry by channelling emerging research and trends into practical, on-ground application
• Manage the end-to-end placement process, including supporting recruiting companies with on-campus promotion
• Partner with Class Profile to design and deliver Corporate Onboarding programmes for incoming employees
