The MMS programme is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for 3 years, up to 30.06.2026, further affirming the institute’s commitment to academic excellence and quality standards.
The Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) programmes at St. Francis Institute of Management & Research (SFIMAR) are designed and delivered in line with the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). The OBE framework ensures that the curriculum is learner-centric, industry-oriented, and focused on measurable learning outcomes that prepare students for managerial and entrepreneurial careers.
Under the OBE approach, the curriculum at SFIMAR clearly defines:
1. Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)
3. Course Outcomes (COs)
These outcomes guide curriculum design, teaching methodologies, assessment processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the MMS Programme are as follows:
1. To impart knowledge of basic and advanced concepts of Business Management and application of their tools and techniques for local and global business practices.
2. To equip the students with techno-managerial skills and entrepreneurial skills to progress as business leaders and entrepreneurs.
3. To instil within students socially acceptable values and business ethics for developing responsible citizens.
4. To foster innovation, research, and sustainable practices for creating impactful industry professionals.
