One of the major issues that have been highlighted at various educational forums is about the low employability rate of Indian graduates due to an education system that is focused on imparting conceptual learning without a focus on outcomes.
SFIMAR has been among several educational institutions in the country which are working towards changing this situation and adopting the Outcome-based education (OBE) approach. Outcome-based education acts as an interface among the students and the faculty of the institute since Learning outcomes are a key element to quality assurance.
Institute has hosted workshops on Outcome Based Education (OBE) to enable faculty members to evolve course content, student assessment, and reporting practices in a way that focuses on achieving measurable and clearly-defined outcomes.1. To impart knowledge of basic and advanced concepts of Business Management and application of their tools and techniques for local and global business practices.
2. To equip the students with techno-managerial skills and entrepreneurial skills to progress as business leaders and entrepreneurs.
3. To instill students on socially acceptable values and business ethics for developing responsible citizens.
