Dr. Sasmita Singh is a faculty at St. Francis Institute of Management & Research. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the area of Finance. She is a graduate degree holder in Commerce and has a doctoral degree from the University of Mumbai. Her title of thesis for Ph. D. is ‘Financial Performance Analysis of Outbound Acquisitions by Indian Acquirers’. Till date she has four research papers published in renowned International journals.
She possesses a blend of experience from both Industry as well as Academics. She has more than ten years of teaching experience to her credit. Prior to joining the field of academics, she was with Kale Consultants Pvt Ltd, Mumbai for around four years. She also has to her credit an experience of teaching various finance subjects such as Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Cost and Management Accounting, and Legal Aspects of Business, Financial Markets, Regulations and Compliances, Commodity Markets, Entrepreneurship Management.

Her interests lie in the areas of Financial and Cost Accounting and Financial Management.
